View from Loggia (oil)

Oil paint brings a richness of texture.

This view was to intoxicating to leave at just one image so I painted the view in oils. Once the client knew of its existence she asked if I could bring it to her with the watercolours. That evening the painting was on its way on a plane to her 95 year old father in the Netherlands.
