The rains continue here. My morning drive to work is a struggle. Shall I stop here for a moment, or here, or here. The poppies against the green, the vines that grow almost as you watch them. Everywhere the colour is intoxicating, so sharp it cuts your soul to its being.
The richness feeds the passion to experiment. My games are now played with knives, I stand at my stone table awash in rich buttery oil fuelled hues. I’m unable to leave the Judas tree alone. It haunts me. So I have returned for one last dance with the Judas tree at Ca Lustra vineyard, Faedo.
