The voyage to the top of my garden. Today it’s hot, not really surprising, yesterday was the solstice. A bigger surprise was having my cats as companions while I painted (there was also a grasshopper who sat on a palette knife till it got to hot). The cats slept under the chairs, Colin dreaming of lizards that he might have caught if only he could wake up.
This painting of one of my olive trees is a little bigger, 30 cm square to be exact. I think this summer I will through caution to the winds with my painting: The lemons began my search , this is going further: I need to test myself and take some risks. Perhaps I will even get as far as the fig tree.
