Buildings, especially those that have the patina of age have always been a passion of Linda Winter Artist. Buildings have souls and stories.
After moving to Italy in late August 2018, Linda Winter Artist started a prolific period painting scenes of her new home.
When I first came to Italy I did not consider myself a fan of Mountains. However this soon changed after an Autumn weekend in 2018 spent exploring the Dolomites. Their monumental splendour was fascinating. This led to three great landscape paintings.
Linda Winter Artist took part in the 100 days project in 2019.
Constructing a still life painting is an exercise in capturing light,shade and tonal variation.
The name was coined by my daughter Polly. This series of paintings were made as I came back to being an Artist.
